Spotted dolphin (Stenella frontalis): This is one of the most common dolphins that we usually see, with their characteristic joy they always come to the boat to play and jump. Only the adults have the characteristic spots, the young ones do not have them. They usually measure about 2 meters long and can weigh up to 140 kilos.
Short-beaked common dolphin (Delphinus delphis linnaeus):
At these latitudes it is more common to see them when the bluefin tuna arrive (February-May). Their behavior is usually friendly, adults measure about 2.7 meters and can weigh about 150 kilos.
Common bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus):
They are usually with us all year round and are the largest dolphins that exist, they are the ones that are in the dolphinariums, reaching up to 3.8 meters and 500 kilos.
Striped dolphin (Stenella coeruleoalba):
They are the most aesthetically beautiful and are by far the most beautiful when swimming. They usually measure about 2.65 metres and weigh about 160 kilos.
Rough-toothed dolphin (Steno bredanensis): We usually see them about 4 or 5 times a year in very shallow waters and they have a characteristic behaviour in the water. They usually measure about 2.65 metres and weigh about 160 kilos.
